OFFICIAL CPS PROCESS FOR REPORTING VIRTUAL ABSENCES, TARDIES AND EARLY DISMISSALS

Call the School at 773-534-9129, Select Option #2 and leave a message on our voicemail with the following information:
• Date of absence, tardy or early dismissal,

• Reason for absence, tardy or early dismissal

• Name of student who is absent, tardy or needs an early dismissal

• Name of person calling and their relationship to the student who is absent, tardy or requesting an early dismissal

 

CPS Considers the following events as EXCUSED ABSENCES:

Student illness / Observance of a religious holiday / Death in the immediate family / Family emergency with explanation / Circumstances which cause reasonable concern for the student’s safety / Other situations beyond the student’s control
